Photography is an integral part of my design practice by not only documenting the urban form, but by using the photographic act as an opportunity for design. I work not only in the digital realm, but also strive to rediscover vintage analog methods of capturing light; from pinholes, to blueprint paper to old Russian cameras, the exploration of the middle ground between conscious photographer's intention and the breakdown of ancient technology is a fertile place.

Starting in 2003 I began a freelance photography career to augment my professional work. Some notable clients are The L Magazine, The Oculus Group, The Poetry Foundation and Open House New York.

I am available for freelance and collaborative projects.
